Now is a great time to sign-up. Go to the KROGER WEBSITE and either “Sign In” or “Create an Account”. Click on “Community Rewards” from the Account Menu, then choose Colony Cats as your organization. Colony Cats group number is CT262.
Once you’re registered you should see Colony Cats listed as your community rewards recipient at the bottom of your store receipts. There’s no cost for you to take part just swipe your Kroger Plus card when you check-out, and Colony Cats automatically earns dollars!

Our Adoption Center is open to the public for regular hours. Come by and visit all of our wonderful adoptable cats and kittens. You never know…you might just meet your forever furiend! Please see our visiting guidelines below in preparation for your visit.
Limited number of guests in the Center at a time Visit time in the Center will be limited if there are people waiting in line to come in.
No Same-Day Adoptions or holds on cats or kittens Guests with pre-approved applications can finalize adoptions during their visit. We encourage you to submit our online adoption application for pre-approval.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Same day and in house only. No on line applications at this time.
3.
Interview
Generally you will go over your application with an adoption counselor. If any further questions it could take up to 72 hrs. to apprive.

Pay Fee
You may put a deposit on a cat or kitten and we will hold up to 5 days. If you change your mind the fee will be a donation.

Take the Pet Home
Schedule an appointment with a vet of your choice and send verification to us that the cat or kitten was seen.

Why Should You Adopt
Dog adoption and cat adoption saves lives. Adopt a dog or adopt a cat and you’ll have a friend for life.
What is the difference between adopting a dog, adopting a cat, adopting a kitten or adopting a puppy versus getting dogs for sale, cats for sale, puppies for sale or kittens for sale from a dog breeder or a cat breeder?
When someone is breeding puppies or breeding kittens, they are creating new dogs and cats who need homes. Some people are interested in a very specific breed of dog, cat, puppy or kitten and they think the only way to find that specific breed is to buy a dog for sale or buy a cat for sale from a puppy breeder or a kitten breeder. Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.

Took kids to adopt a kitten on Sunday, Nov 7, 2021, we saw 5 kittens that are in the cage just have surgery, we are not able to interact with them, one of the lady at the center told us that they will be ready for to visit and adoption on Wednesday! We waited patiently for 3 days and eagerly came early on Wednesday to see those kittens that we might adopt. When the door open at 5:30 and went to see those kittens. We were very disappointed that all the kittens were gone, the lady that opened the door told us that those kittens were adopted on Monday and Tuesday!! Our kids cried on our way home. The lady we talked on Sunday was there as well and she said welcome back in a pretended way :(, we just ignore her!! I really want to question why she lied to us in front of kids!!! she is completely unprofessional and complete lack of feeling or consideration of others. We were disappointed how unprofessional that the 1st lady was. she is completely unprofessional and complete lack of feeling or consideration of others. We were so disappointed in here. We went to another adoption agency on Thursday and adopted a kitten and brought home on the same day. Kids were so happen when they saw their new friend!

Cozy Cat Cottage Adoption Center
Cozy Cat Cottage has a simple missionto provide refuge, aid, and care for all cats and kittens that have been injured, abandoned, lost, or abused. They are committed to caring for these cats and trying to find permanent loving homes for them.
This is a great place for you to go and adopt a kitten or cat this season, or just donate to help them out. Every year, at least once, we find a litter of kittens finding refuge in a framed house that is under construction. We take the kittens to Cozy cat so that the kittens can have a chance!
