Have tried similar apps which bored our girls, but they give Mouse for Cats a 5 Paw Rating. Every time I turn on the ipad one of our girls expects to play MFC. Has been a great deterrent to our moody girl – when she starts bullying her sister we turn it on MFC and shes mesmerized. Love that it plays for a long time, & doesnt shut down, as our oldest is a voyeur who loves to sit and watch. Wish it didnt reset to first level after a minute, as she rarely makes it to multi mini mice chase going at her own slow pace. Shed get there if had more time. Am shopping for a new ipad, so dont have to negotiate with the cats to use mine lolUpdate: our oldest girl actually wakes me up in the morning, as she knows she gets to play MFC once she eats. Her winter aggression towards her sister, mostly from boredom, as greatly diminished too. Nice to see her so happy. Changing review from 4 to 5 stars 🙂

We gave this 5 to be in the front but its really a 0 our cat does not care and knows its fake and it all costs money he likes the TV so hes gonna keep it.
Our cat just doesnt really look at the laser on the game. All she does is take a glance at it. Maybe its just not fun to her. She has never been really interested in lasers.
Our cat loved it right away but we didnt what to buy any thing but us cat loved it so much!! So we bought another iPad just for him thanks for making this game.

I have 2 cars that have Cerebellar Hypoplasia, their mom had a virus in her womb & it translated to CH.CH varies from mild to severe.Some people call it wobbly cat syndrome If u ever saw a person with Parkinsons disease ,They shake uncontrollably.CH is similar. My cats r moderate, my male has it a little worse than his sister.They walk with their legs spread apart to help balance them. Sometimes they can walk 3-4 feet without falling over, other times, especially when they first wake up they fall every few steps.The cant do stairs as a rule but if they were carpeted they may b able to pull themselves up.Drinking & eating is a whole nother adventure.I do have carpeted stairs next to my bed to help them up. They use them occasionally but very clumsy.As a rule the grab the top of the bed & pull themselves up.They have a couple of simple toys so Im always looking for something new.My female ASHLEY really loves Friskies cat fishing game. It means so much to me to b able to give these 2 little babies who were born outside in my yard, a good quality of life.They go nuts when I come home, they crave my attention all day all night.Cat fishing has been a staple for my CH babies,Who god has blessed me with.Thankyou Friskies…..

Eh She Likes The Window Light Better
My cat loves laser pointers and light reflections from the window however she couldnt care less about this. Maybe because she wants to pounce on the light and instinctively knows the iPad is not to be pounced on or hates the glass feeling. She lightly touched it once. But Ive tried on different occasions, once she looked at it then proceeded to play with the non moving light from the window. Typical cat liking the cheapest thing. LolI would try the mice options but Im not paying when I dont even know if shell like it. Plus I was awarded this game from a cat food reward, why did I only get the free version? Minus 3 stars for wasting my reward points.

When Purina offered to send me and my cat BB an iPad loaded with Cat Fishing 2 to promote its recent App Store update, I figured shed be utterly disinterested. Even though the free app is designed for felines and features a whole host of cat-centric customization optionsincluding type, number, and color of fish that swim around on the screenI know BB and none of my many gadgets have ever captured her attention.
But to my surprise, Cat Fishing 2 was different.

The box I received was filled with goodies for BB, including a couple of pouches of Friskies Warmd & Servd cat food , a cat-sized Friskies hoodie , and a hand-stitched felt toy in the shape of a console controller, which was clearly filled with some magic catnip because Ive never seen her go so crazy for a toy for so long. I actually had to hide it so we could get down to the business of fishing.

Cat Fishing 2 is designed to get cats pawing at the various fish and other aquatic creatures on the screen as they swim by, and judging by the thousands of five-star reviews on the App Store. lots of cats do. But rather than try and catch the fish, BB was perfectly content to just sit and watch them swim along. The serene koi fish, which are unlocked by default, were almost mesmerizing to B.B. and after a while, she just loafed and followed the fish patterns with her eyes as if she was sunbathing by a pond.

My cats grew up playing the old version from when they were kittens. The used to sit there and watch and play the game for hours on my phone. In fact, one of my three cats when she was a kitten learned to mimic the cat meows that used to play in between rounds. Thats how her normal meow sounds to this day. I call it the Friskies meow. They used to come running when theyd hear the bubble sounds of starting up the game. I downloadedthe new version and unfortunately they had very little interest in watching it and didnt want to play. I think they miss the sounds from the old game. Sometimes too many enhancements take away from the look and feel of the game. While it looks great to me as a human, not so much to a cat. The only complaint I had about the old version was that it timed out and had to be restarted. Im not asking to get rid of this version as it is pretty cool and some people like it. Id just ask that you also make the old version available for those of us who have cats that dont like having their cheese moved. I appreciate your consideration.
