I have an amazing 15week old Bengal male kitten who is very loving and playful, the reason for me giving him away is I have 3 young children under 9years old and due to our busy life and responsibilities we dont get to give him all the love and time he needs so Im looking for a family who is willing to give him all they time and effort and love he needs. We are also moving and cant take him with us so thats another downfall we are very upset but at the same time will be really happy if we find his forever home. The snow lynx Bengal cat, also known as seal lynx point, has the closest to white color among the 3 snow variants. He is recognized from birth because he is completely white, and it is often difficult to see his markings. As he gets older, his coat will acquire more and more of contrast until the age of 2.
The color of the snow lynx adult Bengal cat is usually a warm white between white and cream. It is the only one of all the Bengal cat colors to have blue eyes. Also, he will have red eyes if you take a picture of him with a flash!

How To Produce Charcoal Bengal Kittens
Charcoal Bengal kittens are a little more complicated to produce than the other colors because they need 2 different genes: melanistic and charcoal . In addition, these 2 genes are recessive, which means that they must each come from a different parent. So for a Bengal kitten to be charcoal , he must have received the Apb gene from one of his parents AND the melanistic gene from the other parent.
If he receives only the Apb gene, which is often called the charcoal gene, he will NOT be considered a charcoal Bengal cat. He carries only the Apb gene and will have the ability to produce charcoal Bengal kittens. In appearance, he looks like a standard Bengal cat, but often with a colder color and a superb contrast!
There is also the double charcoal carrier Bengal cat . At birth, he is almost always taken for a charcoal since they look so much alike. Growing up, he becomes a little lighter but just as beautiful.
Note that 2 charcoal Bengal cats together can produce charcoal, melanistic and double charcoal kittens.
Enrichment For A Bengal Cat
Bengal cats are very active and alert. They like to play and can learn games like fetch or figure out puzzle toys. Unlike most house cats, they like water and may jump into a bathtub or pond or pool for a swim. How To Differentiate A Charcoal Bengal Kitten From A Melanistic Silver Smoke And Solid Snow
Sometimes you can confound a charcoal Bengal kitten with a melanistic, silver smoke or solid snow. To tell the difference, you must look at the face near the eyes. The charcoal Bengal cat is the only one with markings that looks like white glasses.
Also, the charcoal Bengal cat will have a lighter background color than his pattern, while the melanistic, silver smoke and solid snow Bengals will rather have a ghost pattern practically the same color as his coats.

When looking for a Bengal kitten, youll mostly find SBT Bengals. These are kittens that are produced from Bengals being bred to Bengals, and are at least 4 generations removed from the Asian Leopard Cat. If you stumble across Bengals that are higher generations , these kittens will usually cost more and have additional care requirements. SBTs are generally the best choice for a pet owner.
Quality
The level of breeder care shows in the quality of the kitten youre looking at. Healthy, energetic, bright-eyed kittens with stunning, sleek coats is what youll generally want to look for. But if you learn about Bengal Type, youll be able to recognize many other unique physical traits of the Bengal cat breed that may go unappreciated to the untrained eye.
Breeding for quality means that breeders have to pay a significant amount of money for cats from quality lines, with breeding rights. Breeders do this to preserve and improve the Bengal breed, but they have to charge more for their kittens as a result.

When Rani Cucicov and Hilde De Coster decided to buy a Bengal cat a couple of years ago, they had no idea that they’d be answering questions from all over the world about where people could get one like theirs.
Thor is a well-loved Bengal cat living in Belgium and taking the internet by storm because of his amazing stripes and spots. But when people see an animal like Thor, they don’t realize that there’s also a dark side to the demand for Bengal cats.
While Thor has been going viral this month, there was a quieter story in the news: Kevin Cheng, a man in Australia, just got busted for running a kitten factory. Bengal kittens and cats were found riddled with infections and living in filth 30 of the 72 cats seized were so sick they had to be euthanized.
One of the cats found at Cheng’s operation was Bahiya Aussie Ripples, a champion show cat imported from the U.S. By the time he was found, he was so sick he had to be euthanized.
Not all breeders, of course, are as bad as Cheng’s nightmare operation. There are Bengal breeding operations all over the world, but the trouble is that they can be very hard to regulate, or even see.
According to Animals Australia, kitten breeding operations in general lack transparency and regulatory oversight, and “the actions of unscrupulous breeders all combine to create what can be, at best, a life of deprivation and chronic boredom for cats and their kittens or, at worst, a living nightmare.”
