A In The Garden Of Eden
Before God even created man, there were already animals and various types of living creatures in the Garden of Eden. God had literally created the animals before creating Adam. Perhaps God did this so Adam would have everything he would need to be happy and fulfilled.
Although God saw that Adam needed a helper comparable to him besides the animals, the fact that God had created animals and these living creatures in the first environment He had set up for us speaks volume of their importance in living with us on this earth. If God did not think animals were important in the big picture, He would have never created them in the first place.
There Will Be Animals In The Coming Millennium Kingdom
So not only does God put animals upon our earth at the time He created our earth and not only does God keep all of these animals upon our earth after Adam and Eve were cast out of the Garden of Eden but now God is going to take it one more step further.
He is still going to allow animals to exist in the coming millennium kingdom where His Son Jesus will be ruling our entire earth from the city of Jerusalem. Here is the verse that will prove this to you:
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, the leopard shall lie down with the young goat, the calf and the young lion and the fatling together and the lion shall eat straw like the ox, the nursing child shall play by the cobras hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the vipers den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Chances are, if there are going to be wolves, leopards, lambs, goats, calfs, lions, and cobra snakes in this coming millennium kingdom, then there are probably going to be a lot of the other animals that God has created in the past as well. And also notice that the wild animals existing in this coming kingdom will not be wild or attacking anyone like many of them do today.

Will We See Pets In Heaven
Many Christians believe that God will allow pet dogs and cats, and other animals to enter Heaven after they die. This way, all pets can be there with their owners for the rest of eternity.
Whether you believe youll see your pets in Heaven depends on how you interpret the Bible verses.
Gods original creation was exposed to decay and debasement through sin. But everything will be restored to its previous glory and be as it was in the beginning.
Although the sins of the people have destroyed humanity and nature, God will restore both. And just like animals were included in Gods original plan, so they will be included in the new world and life.
God may choose to create a new pet for you in Heaven or decide to reunite you with your earthly companion in the afterlife. Whatever happens, you must be willing to trust God to arrange things as he sees fit and be happy that you gained a pet companion in Heaven.

Will I See My Pet In Heaven A Christian Perspective
- Will I See My Pet in Heaven? A Christian Perspective
In 2007, my family lost a beloved cat. BB was like a member of our family, and the experience nearly broke our hearts. After we buried him, we began to ask ourselves: will we see him again in the afterlife? When I realized that there had to be many other Christian pet owners out there who struggle with the same question, I set out to look for answers amongst local ministers and in the pages of the Bible.
What happens to animals when they die? Many a personchild or adultmourning the death of a beloved pet has asked, Will my pet go to Heaven? Surely God has a place in Heaven for our cats and dogsafter all, they were so cute in life!
So can we look forward to seeing our pets again in the next world? Opinions vary widely because the Bible has not specifically addressed this question. We asked six Christian ministers in the Columbia, S.C. area if they believe we will see our pets in Heaven. All agreed that the answer to this question lies in how one interprets the Scriptures. Several ministers responded no, but others were willing to grant the possibility, though all admitted that there is no clearly right answer. We also posed the question of whether animals go to Heaven to the staff at Columbia International University , but there was no consensus among the theologians there.
Jesus said, All things are possible to him who believes! If you believe that, then get ready for one big ole animal reunion in Heaven.
Do Cats Go To Heaven When They Die
Some people believe cats can go to Heaven, while others believe they cant.
It is a question of religious theory and personal faith whether or not there is a Heaven. If you believe in Heaven, a place of eternal recompense where good people go after they die, you might be curious if your cat will join you there.
Religion is, of course, a deeply personal topic, and you may already hold convictions about the fate of animals. There are numerous points of view on Christian doctrine.
Many theologians believe that animals are unable to enter Heaven. They contend that a thing must have a soul to obtain an everlasting reward . They say that because cats and other animals do not have souls, they cannot get to Heaven.
They vanish when they die. Another point to consider is the concept of free will. Humans are frequently seen as the only species capable of distinguishing between good and evil without this consciousness, it is argued animals cannot be rewarded or punished.
Some people believe that cats go to Heaven on the other side of the debate. They make the point that people build significant emotional relationships with their cats.
Heaven is said to be a magnificent realm of pleasure and tranquilly. Could that happiness be complete without your beloved kitty companion?

Where Do Cats Go After They Die According To Islam
Only humans and Jinns are rewarded or punished in Islam. The souls of the other animals are not tested or put through any trials. As a result, when cats die, their souls vanish.
Cats and other animals are not thought to be ensouled or have souls that do not survive death in many monotheistic faiths.
Because animals cannot distinguish between right and bad in the same way that people do, they will not be rewarded in Paradise . Despite this, many religions nevertheless require that their followers treat animals with kindness and gentleness.
Various faiths have a vast range of animal-related beliefs. According to people who believe in reincarnation, souls may be reincarnated in different forms, including animal bodies.
According to these beliefs, a deceased cat might reincarnate as a kitten or another animal species.
A cat with enough good karma may reincarnate as a human. According to these beliefs, human and animal souls are comparable simply at different phases of growth and development.
There is a range of ideas about animals in the afterlife in modern and ancient pagan faiths. Some individuals think that their cats will remain with them in spirit form after death or that they will be waiting for them in the afterlife after they die.
What individuals believe about cats when they die is sometimes a profoundly personal subject. There arent any hard-and-fast rules in every faith.

Animals Have The ‘breath Of Life’
In the past few decades, scientists have proven beyond any doubt that some species of animals possess intelligence. Porpoises and whales can communicate with other members of their species through audible language. Dogs can be trained to do relatively complex tasks. Gorillas have even been taught to form simple sentences using sign language.
But does animal intelligence constitute a soul? Do a pets emotions and ability to relate to human beings mean that animals possess an immortal spirit that will survive after death?
Theologians say no. They point out that man was created superior to animals and that animals cant be equal with him.
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Most interpreters of the Bible assume that mans likeness to God and animals subservience to man implies that animals have the “breath of life,” nephesh chay in Hebrew , but not an immortal soul in the same sense as a humans.
“You are free to eat from any tree in the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it, you will surely die.”

We Still Have Animals Living With Us Even After The Fall
As we all know, Adam and Eve ended up blowing the perfect paradise that God had set up for them to live in. After they had disobeyed God by eating off the one forbidden tree He told them to stay away from, they were then cast out of the Garden of Eden and our entire earth then fell under a curse.
However, even though Adam and Eve and everyone to follow after them lost this original perfect paradise that God had set up for them, God still keeps all of these living creatures on our earth. And today, we still have many of these same living creatures living among us, both in the waters, in the air, and on the land.
Again, if all these animals and living creatures were not important to God in the big-picture, eternal scheme of things, He could have easily taken all of them away from Adam and Eve after He had cast them out of the Garden of Eden. But He didnt.
And not only did God not take these animals away from us, but He also did not take them away from us when He decided that He was going to wipe out all of mankind with a flood with the exception of Noah and his family.
As we all know, God had Noah put all of these animals by way of two of a kind on his ark so they would all be perfectly preserved when He unleashed this big flood upon our earth.
What Other Types Of Pet Animals Have Been Mentioned In The Bible
The Bible mentions many different types of animals, including mammals, birds, amphibians, insects, fishes, and invertebrates.
The thing that might surprise you is that there is no mention of cats in the Bible. On the other hand, dogs are mentioned more than once, but not in the way you would assume.
In Biblical times dogs werent considered companions and were usually grouped with unholy people, murderers, and sorcerers.
As far as modern-day pet animals are concerned, the Bible mentions:

Animals Are An Integral Part Of The Bibles Story
Can you honestly tell the story of the Bible or story of the cross without animals? Animals are interwoven into Scripture narratives either as actual actors or important metaphors.
Heres to name just a few:
a) Many of the plagues of Egypt include animals as servants of Gods will .
b) Jonah is swallowed up by a large sea creature .
c) Balaams donkey displays the power of God by speaking .
d) Jesus rides as King on a donkey in Jerusalem .
e) The Devil takes the form of a serpent in order to deceive Adam and Eve.
f) Jesus is described by John as the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world and the Lion of Judah .
With all these references to animals, many of which are integral to the story of Scriptures, it seems strange for God not to make a way for them to be with us in the afterlife. God obviously loves animals and He knows that we do too.
God Is Good And He Loves Us
God loves us and He wants us to be happy. God demonstrated His love for us while we were yet sinners, by giving His only begotten Son to die on the cross to pay for the penalty of our sins, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life .
To want to see our dearly departed pets and ask that theyll be with us in the future is not to say that God is not enough to make us happy and content. Of course, in the presence of God there is fullness of joy but God also promised that He will make everything new.
Will our pets be present in Gods new kingdom? We do not know for sure. But if animals populated the Garden of Eden, there is a precedent for believing that they will populate restored Eden as well.

Encouraging Bible Verses For The Loss Of A Pet
There is great debate amongst Bible scholars whether or not animals will go to heaven. Questions arise whether or not animals and pets have a spirit, and whether or not animals have a soul. The main question I was recently asked is whether or not we will be reunited with our beloved pets in heaven. To that last question I say, YES!
I have lost several of my fur- babies over my lifetime. I miss each and every one of them. They were part of my family and I mourned their loss when they died. In Genesis 1:2 the Spirit of God is hovering over the waters This Hebrew word: Ruach is translated breath of life and Genesis 8:1 uses ruach to describe the wind God sent over the earth to recede the flood waters. Altogether the word ruach is used almost 400 times in the Old Testament. All living creatures owe the breath of life to God. .
There is no doubt in my mind that God breathed life into my precious pets, as He has breathed life into me and into all living creatures. There are also several scripture passages that make me believe that ALL creatures are loved by God and He has plans for His children and the lesser creatures to enjoy His eternal Kingdom together. Psalm 145: 9-10 13 15-21.
So, I suppose the ultimate question is not whether or not your pet goes to heaven, but whether or not YOU DO! This whole debate is moot otherwise. If you are doubtful about YOUR eternal life read: The Gospel Message: Get it? Got it? Good!!
