I use it undiluted on the spot where the neighbours cat made his mark. It really eliminate the smell, never use vinegar or ammonia on a cats urine, it just make the smell worse.
Joseph from America had great success with his own concoction which he was good enough to share.
I bought the Eucalyptus plus Mint essential oil at Walmart for $3.87 . The pharmacy there gave me a free syringe to use to extract the oil from the bottle. It is the plunger type that measures in ml and tsp.
I took 1 whole lemon and ran it through a juicer but a food processor works just as good. I then strained the mixture through cheesecloth and poured it into a 16-ounce spray bottle. I then used the plunger to extract 1/2 tsp of oil from the bottle and put it into the spray bottle.
I filled up the rest of the spray bottle with water from the tap. I shook the bottle vigorously before spraying in the areas where the neighbours cats were continually spraying and defecating on my property.
Thankfully, the mixture worked wonderfully. No more cats whatsoever. I respray every Saturday morning, and it has been working faithfully for more than three months now.

If you notice your garden plants have damaged leaves and stems, pests may be to blame. Herbivores, such as deer and rabbits, can do significant damage to garden plants, like young flowers, clovers, fruits and vegetables, if left unattended. If you suspect such pest are to blame for damaged foliage, inspect the leaves; unlike insects that leave jagged edges on half-eaten leaves, mammals, like rabbits, leave a clean cut or devour the foliage completely. To keep pesky mammals at bay, Irish Spring soap can be added to your garden as an inexpensive repellent, since animals find the stench unpleasant.
Slice the Irish Spring soap bar into 1/2-inch cubes with a knife. These do not have to be exact, but you’ll want many small chunks to spread around your garden.
Drop two pieces of soap into each drawstring pouch, pull strings tightly to close, and tie the strings in a knot to secure the soap inside.
Staple one drawstring pouch to the end of each wooden stake with a staple gun. Drive the opposite end of each stake 6 inches into the ground in 5- to 10-foot increments around your garden. Concentrate stakes in areas with thick vegetation or in spots you’ve noticed often are damaged by pests. Alternatively, lay the drawstring pouches under and around the vegetation for a more discrete solution.

For a long time, Irish Spring soap had one scent. And truly, that scent didnt even have a name. It was just called original, or internally referred to as Ulster fragrance.
This mysterious unnamed fragrance is what were hoping will deter raccoons. Since we know raccoons have no problem digging through garbage, we cant simply use smelly things to deter raccoons. Instead, we have to appeal to their sense of danger.
Things that smell good to us humans such as peppermint, garlic, and mint, often send a warning signal to raccoons and other mammals. The taste and smell of these scents are unpalatable.
Irish Spring soap works in the same way, sending signals to the animal that it is inedible and unpalatable, and therefore should be stayed away from.

Go all-natural! Certain seasonings and essential oils are known to keep deer away from your hostas without being harmful. Garlic powder and cayenne powder can be powerful deterrents, and oils such as lavender, cinnamon, and cloves, or anything strong smelling, will often keep deer away as well. Get a pet!

Fox urine! You can buy it in liquid form and get small containers that you hang around your house and yard in strategic places, or get it in powder form which you sprinkle around your home and yard. The draw back of the powder form is that you have to reapply it every time it rains. It is quite expensive, but it works like a charm!
Another remedy is to plant garlic all around the perimeter of your house, or sprinkle hot pepper powder. You have to have sizable quantities of that to make it work, but animals hate the smell of garlic and the hot pepper. The fox urine is completely nontoxic and won’t harm the cats. It’s success undoubtedly lies in its ability to scare the living daylights out of the cats! I would go with the fox urine!
You can also use a Have a Heart trap, and the animal warden will pick up the cats, provided you use their traps! The fox urine can probably be found at larger garden supply sources. You might try doing an Internet search. My mother uses it all the time and buys it from a garden center called “The Chalet,” but I am not sure whether it is a local thing or a national chain!

So How Do I Keep Rats Out
The right answer is probably a combination of many tried-and-true techniques.
If I were storing a car I would use a combination of moth balls, dryer sheets, and rat bait placed in strategic areas. Id use the rat bait and mothballs outside of the car and dryer sheets inside. Also, Id tape up the large gaps of the car interior to keep the moth ball smell from seeping in.
I would not trust Irish Spring bar soap alone to keep mice at bay.

There are some commercial cat repellents that you can purchase to help keep stray cats out of your flower garden. Commercial cat repellents come in a granular form that you sprinkle in the area where you want to deter cats.
