Lilac Farms Custom Cattery specializes in the Persians and Fine Quality Himalayans. Lilac Farms is a non-caged, close cattery whose felines reside indoors only and practice the best healthcare standards. Lilac Farms foundation felines have been tested and found negative for Feline Leukemia, FIV, PKD, and Ringworm.
All their kittens and cats are vaccinated and seen regularly by a licensed vet, and each kitten is raised in their historic Connecticut Estate. Their kittens are kept with them until they are at least 15 weeks or 18 weeks. This extended stay produces the best type of kitty.
They sell all their kittens under contract with a very rigid spray and neuter agreement. All kittens who leave them will have a three-course Pyrantel treatment, which is a deworming medication.
Caring For Siamese Cats
Just like most cats with short fur, Siamese are easy to care for and low-maintenance.
The only real huge chore that comes with caring for cats is brushing and taking care of long-haired breeds.
Apart from that, its really just a case of providing food, water, plenty of warm spots to sleep, and some cat furniture for them to play with.
Siamese are a little more demanding than your average cat, I will say that. They love to play, be fussed, curl up on laps, and generally be involved in where the action is.
Nothing wrong with that though, right!
Just make sure you have some cat toys and furniture like a cat tree, tunnel, and some other things thatll direct their claws away from your furniture.
Overall, I would say theyre easy to care for and low maintenance.

One of the main purposes of Reilly’s ReTail Store is to make sure the items the shelter does not need does not get thrown out. It could be items that were donated that we have no use for and other items that were just unearthed like a lighted Christmas tree! We also have volunteers or friends of our kitties who love to make things for our shelter to sell, like the popular catnip filled fleece mats. Reilly would love to have as many cat-related items as possible.
Reilly’s ReTail Store is not very big and is located right in the entrance of the shelter. If you happen to make anything you would like to donate to Reilly’s Store, let us know! Small items are best and maybe just a few to start out.
