Are Siamese Easy To Look After And Care For
Lets be honest, most cats are easy to look after and care for. Unless they are long-haired, of course, which Siamese are not.
You dont need to brush a Siamese very often. They have short, thin coats, and unless they go somewhere they shouldnt and get something stuck in their fur, they can easily groom themselves.
As long as youre providing quality food, fresh drinking water, some comfy sleeping spots, and some toys and furniture to challenge them youll have a happy cat on your hands.
If there was just one downside, and its really not a downside, its just that Siamese cats can be a little demanding when it comes to attention. And, if they dont get the attention they want, they can be noisy.
But thats it. In a nutshell Siamese are fun, loyal, affectionate, curious, and a little noisy sometimes.

You should always buy exotic cats like Siamese from reputable breeders. And, as you can guess, its not going to be cheap.
As to how much Siamese kittens cost, this is hard to answer. There are a number of factors that affect the price such as pedigree, the history of the breeder, show quality, markings, colors, variety, and so on.
Exotic cats like Siamese can range in price from a few hundred bucks to several thousand.
I rang a couple of catteries and breeders to get a ballpark figure before writing this and I was told Siamese typically range between $600-$1,000 on average. So, thats a good ballpark figure to work with.
If thats out of your budget, you could always consider adopting and rehoming a cat from a shelter or rescue.
Thats always a noble thing to do, and often it gives an older cat another chance at enjoying the company of a loving family.
Important Information On Release Dates On Younger Kittens
Kittens are not viewable until after their shots. If you would like to purchase a kitten, a deposit will hold that kitten until they are ready to be released. If you wait until their release date to purchase there is a good chance they will be already sold.
Kittens sold with: NYS contract, spay/neuter and no declawing contract.

Will Ny Ban The Sale Of Cats And Dogs At Pet Stores How It Would Work
New York is poised to ban the sale of cats, dogs and rabbits at pet stores next year, pushing customers instead to adopt pets for their households.
A long-debated bill prohibiting the sale of these animals at pet shops in the state passed the state Legislature earlier this year, and its currently awaiting a signature from Gov. Kathy Hochul.
Its meant to target the puppy mill industry, which often raises cats, dogs and other animals in inhumane conditions for the purpose of future sale with a high price tag. This treatment can result in bad behaviors or physical health problems for the animal later in life.
Families are often unprepared for the financial loss and heartbreak that come with buying a sick puppy, a statement from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals read in June, after the bill passed in New York.
Pet store owners pushed back on the legislation, saying it unfairly characterizes all pet shops as complicit with animal cruelty and the puppy mill pipeline, and it would put them out of business if enacted.
New York isnt alone in greenlighting this type of legislation other states like California and Illinois have passed similar bans in recent years. New York Attorney General Letitia James sued several pet shops in recent years for lying to customers about the origin of its dogs for sale or failing to disclose puppies’ true breeds or medical conditions.
It Would Allow Pet Shops To Collaborate To Offer Pets For Adoption
Pet stores could display their animals for prospective owners at adoption events in conjunction with local adoption agencies.
This move could help take the pressure off New York shelters or adoption facilities, some of which have an overflow of dogs that were acquired during the pandemic but have since been returned or abandoned as their onetime owners went back to their offices, Libby Post, of the New York State Animal Protection Federation, told the New York Times.
