Are Siamese Good Pets
Siamese cats are one of the most lovable and loyal cat breeds. They enjoy nothing more than hanging out with their human companions and arent quiet about it either.
If you socialize them from kittens, they are known to get on well with other pets even cats and kids. If you have a busy and chaotic household, dont worry, theyll fit right in.
Have a quiet home life and look forward to relaxing with a lap cat? Siamese are just as happy hanging out on a lap watching TV as I bet you are.
How Much Do Siamese Kittens Cost
The answer to this question is broad. Like a lot of exotic cat breeds, the price can vary a lot depending on the lineage, any noticeable features, and so on.
To narrow it down, I would say that generally speaking you can expect to pay anywhere between $600-$1,000+.
But as I said, this really depends on the breeders and the exact type of Siamese youre buying.

Dogs And Cats Available For Zero Adoption Fee At Cincinnati Animal Care This Weekend
Hamilton County humane society Cincinnati Animal CARE has been at “code red” for 139 days, which means they have had fewer than 10 empty kennels in their shelter … for that entire timespan.
To help get their sweet dogs and cats into forever homes and out of the shelter, they’re running a special promotion this weekend. On Oct. 9 and 10, they’ll be waiving adoption fees for all animals older than 6 months, “with hopes of finally clearing out the shelter and getting the population under control,” says Cincinnati Animal CARE in a release.
The organization took over Hamilton County’s shelter from the SPCA in August of 2020.
“We’re hopeful, 14 months later, we can finally start from zero and get our heads above water,” says Ray Anderson, Cincinnati Animal CARE’s Media and Community Relations Manager, in a release. “If you’re considering adopting an animal, this is the weekend to do it.”
And, just because adoption fees are waived doesn’t mean the adoption process is eliminated. Cincinnati Animal CARE will still be screening all potential new pet parents and offering adoption counseling.
The shelter is open noon-6 daily and is located at 3949 Colerain Ave., Northside.
For more information and to see all available animals, visit cincinnatianimalcare.org.

Caring For Siamese Cats
Just like most cats with short fur, Siamese are easy to care for and low-maintenance.
The only real huge chore that comes with caring for cats is brushing and taking care of long-haired breeds.
Apart from that, its really just a case of providing food, water, plenty of warm spots to sleep, and some cat furniture for them to play with.
Siamese are a little more demanding than your average cat, I will say that. They love to play, be fussed, curl up on laps, and generally be involved in where the action is.
Nothing wrong with that though, right!
Just make sure you have some cat toys and furniture like a cat tree, tunnel, and some other things thatll direct their claws away from your furniture.
Overall, I would say theyre easy to care for and low maintenance.
