Sushi and Tuna are not Biebers first exotic pets. In 2013 he was given a Capuchin monkey called OG Malley. He decided to bring the monkey on tour with him to Germany, which was seized and placed in quarantine upon arrival. OG Malley was later taken to a zoo in Hodenhagen, where reports say the monkey remained traumatised for years.
Speaking to GQ in 2016, Justin Bieber admitted his mistake, explaining: Honestly, everyone told me not to bring the monkey. Everybody. Everyone told me not to bring the monkey. I was like ‘It’s gonna be fine, guys!” It was the farthest thing from fine.

Justin Bieber is feuding with Peta, after the animal rights group criticised the singer for purchasing his new pets, two cats named Sushi and Tuna.
Bieber, who recently took the cats home, reportedly paid $35,000 for the pair of rare cats, rather than adopting.
The cats, who are now famous on , where they have more than 255,000 followers, are Savannah cats, an expensive hybrid breed.

When we were discussing Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwins chill South Carolina wedding, I found myself creeping on his Instagram briefly. I truly only Insta-stalk my favorite tennis players, so when I say brief, I do mean brief. I saw the photos of some kitties and I was like oooh, pretty and I didnt think much of it because I was looking for wedding and wedding-related photos. As it turns out, the kitties were wedding-related. Justin Bieber bought the two kitties ahead of his wedding, probably as some kind of wedding gift to himself and Hailey. The Weird And The Wonderful
Its not the first time that Bieber has raised the hackles of animal rights activists, either. Even though the case of the Savannah cats is exaggerated a little, Bieber has made some questionable purchases in the past.
Its almost a trope at this point: The wealthy celebrity who is plagued by a momentary lapse where money overrides sense, who then goes out and purchases an animal that has no business being in a domestic environment.
In this particular case, Bieber has come into possession of a capuchin monkey.;
Primates of any type are always a dangerous choice. Whether its for the safety of those who own them or simply for the physical and mental wellbeing of the animal itself, they dont make great pets.
To be fair though, Bieber was very young at the time and clearly had no ill intent, even expressing later that he missed the monkey greatly.

She dialled that number and heard the mans excitement on the other side of the line. She revealed that either he was bursting out of joy or was teary-eyed. It was only a few weeks ago that Justin Bieber showed off his two adorable new kittensâSushi and Tunaâto his 119 million Instagram followers, but it turns out that his ownership of these two cats poses a bit of a problem, at least according to PETA.
Sushi and Tuna reportedly cost Bieber a cool $35,000 when he bought them from a breeder in Illinois called Select Exotics. Known as Savannah cats, theyâre a mix of a domestic breed and the wild African serval. Theyâre slightly larger than the average domestic cat, agile, and are apparently as intelligent as dogs.
But there is âa dangerous demand for hybrid catsâ according to PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Langeâdangerous because of the existing animal overpopulation crisis. There are already plenty of household pets that are overcrowding shelters, and some are at risk to be euthanized if they are not adopted. The ASPCA estimates that over six million animals enter shelters each year.
The self-proclaimed âcrazy cat manâ and his wife Hailey Bieber also own a couple of dogsâtwo Yorkies named Oscar and Estherâthough there is no telling if they were purchased or adopted.
